The Birthing Project Clinic helps eliminate barriers to care by providing prenatal, postpartum, gynelogical and family planning care and services to low-income women in a warm and welcoming environment. It is our goall to ensure babies are born as healthy as possible to parents who have received prenatal care, parenting and nutrition education, and referrals for additional assistance (e.g. WIC, shelter). Additionally, having a regular gynecological exam is critical to ensuring your physical, sexual and reproductive well-being. Be Healthy and work to maximize your body’s health! If you want to have children, be as healthy as possible before you get pregnant! If you are pregnant, seek prenatal care during your first trimester (your first three months of pregnancy). Prenatal and Post-Partum Care
We provide quality prenatal, postpartum care to low-income women in a warm and welcoming environment. Many women do not have the proper prenatal healthcare and psychosocial support necessary to assist them in transitioning into the role of motherhood. The services and programs provided by The Birthing Project Clinic assist women in strengthening their parenting skills and to learn about the importance of being a provider for their child or children.
We can help! Presumptive Eligibility (PE) is Temporary Medi-Cal for pregnant women allowing you to access care immediately. Immigration Status Does not Matter!

Having a regular gynecological exam is an important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. During your visit you’ll have the opportunity to ask about pregnancy prevention, family planning, and sexually transmitted diseases. Your questions will be answered in a relaxed and confidential setting.
No Insurance? We take Family PACT. Family PACT is a program that provides no-cost family planning services to low-income men and women, including teens. We can find out if you are eligible right away.
